For years, BACHMANN PLANTEC has been integrating valuable raw materials from old refrigerators into the production of new goods. Thanks to the reuse of certified recycled polystyrol from refrigerators instead of new materials, BACHMANN PLANTEC saved 5’381 tons of CO2 in the last fiscal year.
But the benefits of refrigerator recycling go even further: The proper disposal of refrigerants and insulation foams additionally prevents the release of around 11’000 tons of CO2 equivalents into the atmosphere.
These CO2 savings can protect the enviroment and make an important contribution to slowing down climate change.
